This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Stores Supervisor to join an established business offering a varied role with fresh challenges and a rewarding career. 

Based in Boston Lincolnshire, this business designs and manufactures heavy duty machinery for the growing international pipeline and cable trenching industries. The bespoke machines can weigh over 80 tonnes and use high horsepower diesel engines to power a hydrostatic drive system with intelligent machine management and control systems.

As Stores Supervisor you will head up a busy parts department which supplies both the manufacturing workshop and extensive supply of after sales parts globally. You will be an integral part of the team to ensure that the right part is in the right place at the right time. You will understand engineering drawings and terminology, enabling you to be part of the quality control process and competitive sourcing of materials.

Ideally with a “hands on” background in engineering or manufacturing, you will be methodical, reliable, and have excellent attention to detail.  In addition, you’ll need the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrable experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in managing a supply chain from purchasing to end user.
- Understanding of MRP systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Detailed and accurate approach to documentation.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and terminology
- Excellent relationship, communication & organisational skills.
- Strong teamwork abilities and able to manage a team.
- Driving licence.

Extensive on-the-job training will be given from the start for the right person.
