My client in Yeovil are looking for an experienced inventory controller to come on board and join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a well known business with an excellent market reputation.

Your duties will include:

• Warehouse assistant is responsible for overall stock maintaining and stock keeping
• Responsible for receiving and recording and maintaining the status of all material POs from Procurement department.
• Receipt of materials against the PO from various suppliers
• Ensure all documentations are received along with the material delivery
• Conduct inspection and acceptance/rejection of received materials
• Record the receipt and allocate to relevant project/general inventories in the system
• Arrange and store the materials in accordance with warehouse plan/procedure
• Maintain stock of general consumables and items
• Issue of materials based on requests (Store Issue Voucher) against relevant Project/Cost Centre
• Maintain record of all transactions and issuance to various projects
• Generate inventory reports weekly
• Generate reconciliation reports monthly
• Conduct annual stock taking and records
• Maintain safe storage of chemicals and flammable materials
• Control flow of shelf life items
• Plan for the facility and effective utilization of available spaces
• Supports production to issue material as per schedule, maintain stock (especially general stock) to avoid any delay due to shortages.
