We are currently looking for an experienced Stores Person to be based in Oldham on a full-time, temporary basis, for a well-established manufacturing company.
Due to the nature of the working environment, 2 years previous experience in a similar capacity.
Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm, and Friday 7am to 12pm. 39 hours per week!

£11.44 per hour - Paid Weekly

Main Duties & Responsibilities of a stores person will include:
  • Picking, packing and despatch of finished goods
  • Raising despatch and sub-contract documentation
  • Book daily despatch transport
  • Control of stock movements
  • Use of Warehouse Management Systems
  • Use of FLT Counterbalance trucks
  • Assist in stock takes
  • Maintaining a good working environment and safe working conditions through good housekeeping standards
  • Ensuring appropriate personal protective equipment is worn
  • Ad-hoc duties requested by Stores Manager
Skills and Experience required:
  • FLT Counterbalance licence – Essential
  • Computer literate
  • Experience of previous position 2+ years
  • Experience of Warehouse Management Systems
  • Ability to pick/pack and despatch of heavy items
