Due to the nature of the working environment, 2 years previous experience in a similar capacity.
Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm, and Friday 7am to 12pm. 39 hours per week!
£11.44 per hour - Paid Weekly
Main Duties & Responsibilities of a stores person will include:
- Picking, packing and despatch of finished goods
- Raising despatch and sub-contract documentation
- Book daily despatch transport
- Control of stock movements
- Use of Warehouse Management Systems
- Use of FLT Counterbalance trucks
- Assist in stock takes
- Maintaining a good working environment and safe working conditions through good housekeeping standards
- Ensuring appropriate personal protective equipment is worn
- Ad-hoc duties requested by Stores Manager
- FLT Counterbalance licence – Essential
- Computer literate
- Experience of previous position 2+ years
- Experience of Warehouse Management Systems
- Ability to pick/pack and despatch of heavy items
