Stores Inspector

Your new company
You will be working for a global logistics and supply chain business based in the East Midlands. They are going through a period of growth within their global aviation division and are looking for a Stores Inspector to join the team and assist with the management and control of aeronautical components to support operational requirements.

Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for the inspection of all incoming goods, ensuring they are compliant with the required specifications and regulations. You will also oversee the safe storage of all components, maintaining accurate stock records and arranging the shipping of products to external repair vendors and remote stock outstations, ensuring stock levels are maintained. This is a key role within the operation as the position is to ensure all requests are satisfied to always maintain aircraft serviceability to avoid operational impacts to the fleet.

What you\'ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to have experience working within an Aviation Logistics environment and an understanding of end-to-end logistics processes and procedures. Key skills for this role will be around inventory control, planning, parts auditing, and replenishment. The company is looking for someone who works well within a team and is keen to learn, grow and build a career.
For this role you will need a driving licence and a forklift licence would be advantageous (but not essential).

What you\'ll get in return
For this role you will be offered a permanent contract alongside a starting salary of £29k - £30.5k DOE. This will then increase to up to £32.5k following a 9-month training period with a 3-4k shift allowance. The working pattern will be a rotating shift of 4 on 5 off etc. This will be on site every day.
