Stores Controller

  • Annual Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 DOE
  • Location: Middlewich
  • Job Type: Full-time

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Stores Controller to join a leading company in the automotive market. This role is perfect for someone who is well-organised, has a keen eye for detail, and possesses a proactive can-do attitude.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Responsible for the ordering of parts.
  • Performing stock audits and updates.
  • Conduct inventory checks and update systems accordingly.
  • Engage with suppliers and manage supplier relationships.
  • Liaise with customers, including businesses and the public, to ensure excellent service.
  • Arrange shipments and courier services for products.
  • Verify customer invoices and ensure they are correct.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an Automotive industry-based role is advantageous, but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong team player with a can-do attitude and the ability to adapt to varied tasks.
  • Independent worker with the initiative to manage tasks without constant supervision.
  • Good sense of humour and ability to contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient PC skills, particularly in Excel.
