Stores Controller

My client who work within the food manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Stores Controller to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with the right skill set and passion to join a fantastic team.

Key Details: Stores Controller

  • Monday to Friday - 7:30am to 5pm.
  • Permanent contract.
  • Salary ranging from £25,000 - £27,000.

Duties and Experience: Stores Controller

  • The role will be responsible for managing the process to supply the factory and its staff with parts, equipment materials and consumables and services at the right quality.
  • Understand customer requirements to efficiently execute to agreed timescales.
  • Manage consumable levels for machines and make sure they are reordered for prompt delivery.
  • Stores stock and goods in flow to the business will be seamless, with items delivered to their required locations in a timely fashion.
  • Experience of stock management and purchasing is essential.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical machine parts and consumables.
  • FMCG / Manufacturing or Food experience would be advantageous.
