Store Person

We have an exciting opportunity to join our client based in Basildon as a permanent Store Person to join their growing sales office team.

We are looking for someone with good communication skills and attention to detail. Your responsibilities will involve a wide range of activities from daily to annual routines, including complying with Health and Safety regulations while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Other duties will include:-

• Managing inventory, receiving and booking in goods.
• Collating engineering parts ready for assembly against schedules
• Storing goods to allocated areas using the Kardex system
• Processing picking lists, collating, and packing goods ready for shipping to customers/suppliers
• Liaising with delivery drivers and suppliers
• Delivering received parts and post to internal departments
• Forklift truck licence, Counterbalance, preferred but not essential

Training will be provided to familiarise the successful applicant with the specialist machinery and equipment we supply.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 09:00-12:30 and 14:00-16:00.
