We are currently working with a very well known brand in Milton Keynes who are seeking a Store Ordering Coordinator to work in a very busy team.

The purpose of this role is to receive and process orders for food and non-food items from businesses within the company, in an accurate and timely manner in line with the company's standards and procedures. You could be dealing as a team, between 700-800 orders day, as well as taking phone orders. You will be providing exceptional customer service to the companies, customers and franchisees.

Main Responsibilities

  • Receiving and handling calls and emails from customers in relation to orders, answering any queries in a timely manner, providing excellent customer service at all times
  • Accurately enter order information onto the company's system, working towards daily processing deadlines
  • Collating store demand figures, placing PO with suppliers and providing volume data to the correct suppliers and departments for processing.
  • Work closely with internal departments, to enable daily route planning and Warehouse for picking/loading paperwork.
  • Action complaints and stock queries, when appropriate to include raising credit notes.
  • Investigating stores that haven't placed orders to ensure store stock is available.

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, but indicate some of the tasks involved.

Full training with be given over a 2-3 week period, which will be based in their Milton Keynes based Head Office.

The ideal client will:

  • Have experience within a customer focused role
  • Good attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel
  • Able to work on own initiative to solve problems, and make quick decisions
  • Flexible approach to working hours. You will be required to work on a rotating shift between 7am-5pm 7 day a week
