Store Manager

*RELOCATION OPPORTUNITY* Quest Search & Selection are partnering with one of the leading UK commercial players in Spain who is currently looking for a Store Managers to work within one of their branded supermarket retailers in the Canary Islands & Costa Blanca as well as other new store openings.

Their ethos is to be a main focal point of the community and be able to provide the service that their customers require. Having a buying office in the UK & EU allows the business to negotiate better prices and lead times to provide a large variety of branded and own brand products for the local and expat community.

The roles & responsibilities of this Store Manager role -

• Managing the hands-on daily operations & back areas
• To take overall accountability of the P&L and legalities of your own store.
• Lead the Compliance and Health & Safety processes of the store
• To lead and coach store teams in exceeding their job roles and having an active succession plan in place for future roles on the region.
• KPIs focus on measurable around both financial and non-financial targets
• Take responsibility of wage budgets and have proactive plan for absentee management
• Working proactively and in partnership with your HR BP & Regional Manager
• Sorting out deliveries & stock takes

To be successfully in this Store Manager position you must -

• Have Store, Deputy, Duty, Senior or Assistant management experience within convenience, forecourt or supermarket retail
• The client is looking for real hands-on people to drive and build the business.
• KPIs focus on measurable - around both financial and non-financial targets
• Managing and leading a team - people management including training and development & succession planning.
• Have managed a team size of approx. 20-30 staff.
• Managing and controlling stock levels
• provide a legal compliant and visually presentable store.
• Must be self-motivated and driven and work well in an autonomous environment!
• NB due to Brexit we can only consider EU nationals
