Duties

  1. Team Leadership:Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales associates to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
  2. Customer Experience:Ensure that every customer interaction is positive, memorable, and aligned with our brand values. Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that makes families feel at home in our boutique.
  3. Operational Excellence:Oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management. Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing store environment at all times.
  4. Sales and Performance Management:Drive sales growth by implementing effective merchandising strategies, monitoring key performance indicators, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Set sales targets, track progress, and motivate the team to exceed goals.
  5. Product Knowledge:Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, including fabric, fit, and style details. Train staff on product features, trends, and seasonal collections to enhance their ability to assist customers and drive sales.
  6. Inventory Management:Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure accurate product replenishment. Collaborate with the corporate office to plan and execute inventory transfers, markdowns, and promotions.
  7. Customer Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through personalised service, follow-up communication, and engagement initiatives. Listen to customer feedback, address concerns promptly, and implement solutions to enhance the shopping experience.
  8. Compliance and Safety:Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines, including health and safety regulations. Implement security measures to protect merchandise and prevent loss.

Qualifications:

  • Previous retail management experience, preferably in children's apparel or a related industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business results.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and service.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and retail best practices.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Passion for children's fashion and a genuine interest in creating memorable shopping experiences for families.
