Stock Controller / Warehouse Operative - £24,000 per annum – Permanent – Based in Eye, Suffolk – Full Time – Day Shift 8.00am till 5.00pm
  
Hales Group have the pleasure of working with one our well established clients based in Eye, Suffolk.
  
The company is in a busy time of year and have a full order book moving forward. Therefore they are looking to employ a stock controller, to work within their warehouse. Due to having a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) being installed go live in January ’24 the successful candidate will help to ensure there is a smooth transition.
  
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overseeing smooth transition of new WMS
  • Maintaining current and future stock levels within the warehouse
  • Liaising with goods in and goods out, whilst updating the computer systems with relevant information
  • The running of a daily replenishment for stock throughout the warehouse
  • Investigating stock discrepancies and handling stock movements/transfers
  • Processing of orders using computer systems
  • General warehousing duties if required
  What we will need from you:
  • Experience of warehouse and stock processes
  • IT Skills – Microsoft Office
  • Excellent accuracy and organisation skills
  • High attention to detail and a sense of urgency with allocated tasks
  • Ability to work well independently
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Strong communication skills – interpersonal and written
  • You will need to be physically fit as some heavy lifting may be required.
