First Achieve Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Turbine Engineer, in the Bedford region. You will be working with a global servicing company, who specialise in offering solutions to the oil and gas, marine, energy, and offshore industries.

Responsibility

the successful candidate will create outage work scopes, inspect and assess turbine components (providing recommendations for repairs) and trouble shoot live issues. Also, involve explaining problems and actions to customers directly.

Skills Required

  • Ability to investigate faults and failures and the confidence to present findings to customers whilst standing firm on company positions for solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of fundamental mechanical engineering principles and ability to utilise hand calculations.
  • Ability to analyse operational data and draw logical, insightful conclusions.
  • Knowledge of vibration analysis.
  • Use of Ansys and Solid Works or equivalent software packages

Salary (£50,000 -£53,000)

  • 25 days annual leave
