Statutory Reporting Accountant - Reading, Berkshire (Hybrid working) - £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus and company benefits

FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a leading technology business in Reading, Berkshire to assist in the hiring of a Statutory Reporting Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Statutory accounts and audits are completed in accordance with local requirements and policies, reporting into the Group Lead.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring that statutory accounts and audits are completed in accordance with local requirements and company policies. This will involve liaising with external advisers and auditors.
  • Ensuring agreed audit adjustments are reflected in the ERP system.
  • Liaising with internal finance groups to obtain answers to auditors queries.
  • Liaising with internal legal department to ensure approval process for completion of the statutory accounts is met.
  • Locating all statutory accounting information within the ERP system and compiling for the local accounts.
  • Assisting Preparation of UK subsidiary statutory accounts.
  • Supporting the statutory reporting team leader with ad-hoc accounting projects
  • Researching major accounting standard changes that impact our subsidiaries.

The successful candidate should be ACCA or ACA qualified with industry experience coming from Top 10 practice firms. Holding high attention to detail, self-motivated and have excellent communication skills. Experience with Oracle and multiple entities would be an advantage.
