Here at Impact we are currently recruiting for a sprayer to work in Northampton as part of their Workshop Technician team. The successful candidate will play a key role in performing panel fitting, stripping, prepping, and spraying of a range of mechanical parts.

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 (Depending on experience)

Location: Northampton

Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct panel fitting, stripping and spraying tasks on mechanical parts.
  • Perform general mechanical and maintenance tasks, including adjustments, repairs, and diagnostics.
  • Assist with vehicle inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and recommend repair solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to prioritise tasks, coordinate workflow, and ensure efficient use of resources.

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Knowledge of mechanical components.
  • Familiarity with workshop tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and spraying equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
