Sports graduate - Manchester

Are you graduating in Sports with a good classification? Are you looking for work in education?

We are working exclusively with a large Secondary school in Manchester, who are looking for a recent Sports graduate, who may be looking to pursue a career in education or wishing to embark on a PGCE in the future to work in the PE department as a tutor and teaching assistant. The role will start in ASAP, it will be full time.

You will be responsible for supporting pupils within the Sports department in key stage 3 & 4, you will also have a small timetable (these are called intervention groups) where you will provide intensive support to small groups of learners. You will formulate a superb understanding of the curriculum at KS3 & 4, which will bode well for their future studies. You will be supported by outstanding teachers and a strong, highly recognised leadership team.

This is a brilliant chance to get involved in a school that puts the students first with a warm, happy, and safe environment. The staff and students have a sense of pride in their diverse culture and celebrate this with a culture day, which focuses on the different backgrounds that make their community better. The students take on extra responsibility demonstrating their maturity. This includes school council, being a prefect or a librarian.
