Sports and Activity Coach

Chetham’s is a magical place, home to the UK’s largest specialist music school, the oldest library in the English-speaking world and a world-class concert venue all in the heart of Manchester. We are looking for an inspiring and reliable Sports Coach/Fitness Instructor with experience of working with children and young people to provide fitness instruction and sports activities to students aged 8 - 18 years

The job

• The position is a 1 year fixed term role. Up to 20 hours per week during term time, with evening and some weekend work.
• Organising extra-curricular activities and lessons which address the needs and interests of our children and young people, including devising a range of games and activities which encourage the students to have fun, whilst maintaining a level of fitness, promoting wellbeing and co-ordinating of trips and excursions which enrich student experience.

• Hourly rate £20.57 (Scale Point 31).
