Speech and Language Therapist / Speech Pathologist - Colchester

Remedy Education are a leading provider of educational support services, committed to enriching the lives of students with diverse learning needs. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team and make a positive impact on the communication skills of students in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Colchester.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each student.
* Provide direct therapeutic intervention to improve speech sound production, language comprehension, fluency, and social communication skills.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate speech and language goals into the academic and home environments.
* Support classroom activities and provide resources to create an inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with other professionals to address the holistic needs of students.

Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
* Registration and licensure as a Speech and Language Therapist.
* Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
