Speech and Language Teaching Assistant | Brent, HA0 | Full-time | £95-£110 | ASAP Start

LTF Recruitment are seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Teaching Assistant to join our partner school in Wembley. As a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students in Key Stage 3 who have speech and language needs, providing tailored support to enhance their communication skills and overall educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to develop speech and language skills.
  • Implement individualised education plans in collaboration with speech therapists and teachers.
  • Assist in creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Provide guidance and support during classroom activities and assessments.
  • Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with speech and language needs preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting student learning.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in speech and language therapy or education
