SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting on behalf of a lovely special needs school in Hounslow that are looking for a teaching assistant to join their team from September! Experience within a special needs setting is desirable, but not essential.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
The school is a SEN primary school for children from ages 3 to 11 with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, some of whom also have a diagnosis of ASD. The school is warm and welcoming, and prides itself on nurturing a supportive and collaborative environment for all.?
ABOUT YOU
They are seeking a strong teaching assistant who either has experience working with special needs, or who is quick to learn.
You need to be:
- Proactive
- Demonstrate good relationship building skills and be able to encourage the students to be as independent as possible
- Experienced with supporting special needs
- Willing to do personal care and support the children positively in all situations
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, displaying empathy and understanding
- Strong teamwork skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
