Special Needs Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality teaching to students with special needs within a supportive school environment in Tower Hamlets.
• Designing and implementing individualised education plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Collaborating closely with fellow educators, parents, and specialists to ensure the holistic development of students.
• Providing guidance and support to colleagues on effective strategies for teaching students with special needs.
• Engaging with external agencies and professionals to access additional support for students when necessary.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Special Needs Teacher, preferably within a special needs school or similar setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of various special needs conditions and effective teaching strategies.
• Strong ability to manage classroom dynamics and adapt teaching approaches to suit individual student needs.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external stakeholders.
