Tradewind is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support a student with SEN in one of our Runcorn user schools.

The successful candidate will have experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs and has a passion for promoting independence and life skills. The position is to start from April 8th and will be a full-time, long-term position.

Within this role, you will be supporting a student in Year 2 who requires tailored one-to-one support. Your day-to-day duties will be ensuring that the curriculum and learning is accessible for this student, ensuring that he can reach his potential.

To be considered for this position as School Support Worker in Runcorn you must:

  • Have experience working with children who have SEN needs
  • Experience with challenging behaviour
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
  • Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references, covering the last 2 years, including your most recent education reference
  • Have a full and complete 10-year career history
