Join our fantastic large primary school as a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant specializing in pupils with Autism. In this role, you'll provide 1:1 support to students while assisting in classroom activities. This full-time position starts immediately and runs until the end of the academic year, with the view to continue in the new academic year, with school hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

What We're Looking For:

Our head teacher seeks a talented TA with a kind, compassionate, and calm nature to provide personalized support. We value confident communicators who can adapt flexibly to meet the needs of our students.

Your role will include:

  • Teaching students with SEND/SEMH in specialist classes or groups
  • Teaching in a range of environments tailored to each pupil
  • Preparing lessons and resources
  • Assessing individual pupils' needs
  • Formulating educational plans
  • Liaising with existing staff
  • Adapting support to suit the needs of the pupils
