About the school:

I am currently working on behalf of an outstanding Special Educational Needs (SEN) school situated in the Forest of Dean. Utilising its beautiful location, the school boasts incredible facilities in order to support pupils in reaching both their academic and personal goals. The school's specialist facilities are situated within mixed architecture, combining modern, light and spacious classrooms with historic buildings within the campus. The school also possesses a one of a kind learning environment, the pupils benefit from small class groups, focused provision, a range of therapies and specialist teaching and support staff.

The needs of the pupils vary from (Moderate Additional Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) and PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, the school is able to cater for all these needs with compassion and care at all times.

About the role:

As a Special Educational Needs Teacher you will be joining an already highly trained and motivated group of staff who take pride in supporting pupils. Your role will include:

  • Planning and preparing lessons
  • Working 1-1 with pupils who require additional support
  • Prepare and adapt general teaching materials for children with special needs
  • Check and assess students’ skills and performance and provide feedback for improvement
  • Ensuring the pupils are engaged and safe while on campus
  • Being a positive and proactive addition to the school

We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special

Schools.
