About the school:

I am currently working on behalf of an incredible school who cater for the pupils with a wide range of Special Educational Needs (SEN). The school specialises in providing a supportive and positive, and tailored approach for all pupils to allow them to maximise their potential, as well as taking great pride in celebrating their achievements and encouraging the families to take an active role in their child’s education and future life goals.

About the role:

  • Getting the classroom prepared and ready for lessons
  • Supporting the Classroom teacher
  • Working 1-1 with pupils who require extra support
  • Monitoring pupil progress and working within Development Plans for pupils
  • Monitoring behaviour and activities of pupils, and supporting where needed
  • Being a positive and proactive addition to the existing staff
  • Working in small class sizes
