Pay Rate: £130 - £190 per day

Hours: Full-time, 32 hours a week, Monday – Friday.

Main Duties of theSpanish Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to pupils/students, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
  • Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
  • Stay updated with new topic areas, maintain subject knowledge, and develop curriculum materials accordingly.
  • Utilise a variety of learning resources and equipment, including podcasts and interactive whiteboards, to enhance learning experiences.
  • Prepare students for qualifications and external examinations, providing necessary support and guidance.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, applying appropriate measures in cases of misbehaviour.
  • Fulfil pastoral duties such as serving as a form tutor and providing individual support to students facing academic or personal challenges.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding student progress, participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and school-wide training events.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as learning mentors and educational psychologists, to support student well-being and achievement.
  • Supervise and support the work of teaching assistants, trainee teachers, and newly qualified teachers (NQTs).

Applicant Requirements of the Spanish Teacher:

  • Possession of a relevant University Degree.
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-graduate experience as a Teacher in the UK.
  • Verification of eligibility to work and reside in the UK, along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license, enabling independent commuting to and from work.
