One of our Hospitality clients require a Sous Chef to join their highly successful Kitchen Team.

There will be lots of opportunities to lead and develop the team in one of two fantastic food venues.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to direct food preparation
  • Help design the food and drinks menu
  • Produce high-quality plates, considering both design and taste
  • Oversee and supervises the kitchen staff
  • Assist with menu planning, inventory and supply management

About You

  • We are looking for an individual with experience in a similar level role or if you are looking to step up to your next role in the kitchen.
  • You will need to be hard working and determined, a reliable person who likes to get things done and who will look for better ways for the team to consistently deliver high standards.
  • You must be energetic and enthusiastic, high spirited and fun loving, who will understand their role and the value they can add to the guest experience by unleashing the potential of the team.
  • You should have also passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team to continually deliver high standards in a fast paced and busy kitchen environment.
  • As with any Chef role at this level, you will also be responsible for managing margins and controlling costs and all things health, safety and hygiene related.

Typical working hours: Working five days over seven, covering 40 hours per week and will be part of a bonus scheme.
