Leading fashion retailer are seeking a Sourcing Manager who is responsible for sourcing products aligned to retail range plan, covering production process, price negotiation, progress and delivery to agreed schedule.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for ensuring that suppliers selected to produce product that meet company standards and have the capabilities required to deliver our requirements.
  • Manage the ongoing supplier evaluation process, which is in place, taking input from colleagues with the objective of having strong base of quality suppliers, capable of meeting our changing requirements.
  • Responsible for product engineering through selected suppliers to achieve the Company quality standards and price targets.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, covering capacity bookings, price agreements, payment terms and Critical Paths.
  • Management of relevant Critical Path functions, to ensure that products are developed, manufactured and delivered to schedule.
  • Responsible for order progress to critical Path, and updating of expected delivery file, highlighting any issues to the Merchandise function.
  • Management of the official ordering process, including any letter of Credit documentation.
  • Development and management of production Managers and ensure development of Sourcing Co-ordinator is being managed.
  • Development of the Sourcing base, in line with Company requirements to have dual sources and improved lead times across the product offer.
  • Provide relevant information on raw materials, products and sources to Design and Buying & Merchandising colleagues, and attend strategy and selection meetings as necessary.
  • Responsible for creating sourcing strategy against buyers requirements
