Our client an award-winning luxury hotel and restaurant in the stunning Pembrokeshire countryside, is seeking a talented Junior Sommelier. With multiple awards, the establishment is renowned for exceptional service and hospitality. The client is offering a base salary of £27,000 with additional gratuities of approximately £2,000 per year.

What Does the Role Entail?

The client seeks a passionate and hands-on Junior Sommelier to work with their talented award-winning bar team. Reporting to the Head Sommelier, you'll learn and develop your capabilities with the rest of the Bar team, ensuring impeccable service and guest satisfaction. You will maintain standards, handle guest inquiries, and contribute to the overall success of the dining experience.

What Skills Will You Have?

You will ideally have Sommelier experience in a multiple-outlet environment, with exposure to Michelin-starred and Rosette establishments. You should possess a genuine passion for customer service, and exceptional interpersonal skills. Strong wine knowledge is a must, a passion for local, regional and world wines and spirits and a resilient nature are essential, along with an immaculate presentation and a friendly yet professional demeanour.

What Is On Offer?

Our client is offering a salary of £27000, including gratuities and a pension, with a 4-day working week and additional paid days worked. Gratuities are shared through their Tronc system.
