The team at NET Recruit are collaborating with a fantastic national services business to assist them on their search to find an experienced Solutions Architect to join their Bournemouth based team. With years and years of success under their belt, this nationally recognised company are growing many of their core functions across the business and are constantly reviewing and innovating new ways to ensure they are delivering the best results and service to their clients.

This will be an exciting role, to act as a crucial member of the team, overseeing and taking a key part in many transformation projects within the finance function of the business. Within this role, the position holder will be identifying requirements for change and working with the delivery teams to enable this transformation whilst supporting the delivery and ongoing training for new systems and processes.

Your Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Proactively analysing and identifying improvement opportunities within the finance function.
  • Supporting on transformation projects, by defining objectives and the scope of these in order to progress their development.
  • Creating and handle the transformation change management plan for the finance function ensuring that timeline and objectives are set out clearly and explained well, alongside the predicted benefits of said plan.
  • Providing reporting on the outcomes of finance transformation initiatives, utilising this to inform changes in best practices for continuous improvement across the function.
  • Taking ownership of the designing of the solutions architecture and any technical specifications relating to finance systems and processes, ensuring that these meet needs and requirements.
  • Acting as the technical lead of complex projects across multiple delivery teams.
  • Providing technical co-ordination and IT solutions assurance for third parties on projects involving applications, hosting and development.
  • Ensuring that all work complies with the company architecture governance framework.
  • Effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders throughout the ensure change process, ensuring the integration of various solutions across the business via clear communication and feedback routes.
  • Oversee the training of finance staff and other such parties on new processes, systems, monitoring the adoption statistics and competencies.
  • Supporting with resolving any issues that may come around during the development and integration of new solutions.
What you will need to Apply:
The ideal candidate for this role will come from a financial services background, and it would be ideal for this to specifically be in the insurance or life sector. Applicants must have demonstratable knowledge of finance application development, system integrations and using enterprise platforms such as SAAS platforms. Additionally, experience working in solution design and delivery is vital, as well as a minimum of 10 years working within finance transformation or change management. A strong understanding of the finance function including processes and systems is required as well as good IT skills including Microsoft Office and finance related software.
  
What you will get in Return:

For the successful candidate who obtains this role, a starting base salary of up to £100,000 is available, dependent on experience and knowledge, with an additional benefits package including an excellent holiday allowance, competitive pension contribution, generous bonus accreditations based off of company and personal performance and health insurance cover, among other possibilities.
