The team at NET Recruit are partnering with a client who is searching for an experienced Solution Development & Delivery Manager to work mostly remotely. The business itself offers financial services and is embarking on a mission to ensure that communities across the nation have access to money in a sustainable manner, by setting up banking services in hub form, within these communities and partnering with local banks to gain representation for their services offered, enabling members of the public to access this when they need to.

The job holder will be supporting the innovation of planned pilots, owning the end-to-end process of these pilots including the development, deployment and the measuring of success, including making recommendations for scalability. There will also be support needed in finalising solutions that will then be handed over to the delivery team.

Your Role and Responsibilities
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Overseeing the entire development and delivery of innovation pilots, identifying initiatives, working with supply chain management to agree contracts, creating core activities and plan to run the pilot, identifying communities to run the pilots, managing the governance and risk, developing success measures and monitoring progress and handing over finalised solutions to the delivery team to implement
  • Creating and developing strong business relationships with partnering businesses to acquire their service requirements to be tested in the pilot stages
  • Ensuring all activities are within the innovation budget, driving cost efficiencies across the supply chain where possible
  • Securing the provision of feedback on performance for supplier reviews to support the supplier management process
  • Identifying and managing risks that arise from the pilots
  • Developing the evaluation criteria for solutions to inform critical activity such as extensions and exits
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities for the live solutions
  • Supporting transitions of solutions from approval stage through to BAU, establishing operational activities to run a solution
  • Assisting the assessment of prospective solutions that are in the market that will allow the business to deliver further value

What you will need to Apply:
The business is searching for experienced change management professionals to apply for this role, with strong experience in 3rd party delivery or outsourced solutions. Project and delivery management from within a financial services environment would be ideal experience for this role. It would also be useful for the candidate to have a good financial or commercial acumen, in order to understand and manage budgets well. Excellent communication skills are vital, particularly with stakeholder management.
