Soldering Technician - Shifts

MDH Recruitment recruiting for several Soldering Technicians to join our clients manufacturing site in Coatbridge.

This is a full-time role and you’ll work Monday to Friday. You need to work a shift pattern of a week of dayshift, then a week of backshift the following week. You will get a half day every Friday.

You do not have to work weekends and you will be paid an enhanced rate for any overtime you chose to work.

Hours of Work:

• Dayshift : 6am-2pm £11.40 per hour. Weekly pay.
• Backshift: 2pm-10pm £13.56 per hour. Weekly pay.

Duties

• Soldering and assembly of intricate electronic components
• Perform quality inspection and testing.
• Use of soldering equipment and power tools.
• Read and work from technical diagrams and instructions

Skills

• A knowledge of soldering techniques would be a big plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and diagrams.
• Good Hand to eye coordination
• Ability to meet production deadlines

The ideal candidate should have experience in hand soldering and can work in a fast-paced environment.
