Are you an Engineer who holds experience in the Solar sector? Are you looking to kick on your career with an established and growing Solar PV specific company who encourages development opportunities?

This company is a specialist provider of air-conditioning and renewable energy services and has been established for 7+ years. They offer their services to both the commercial and residential property markets and are recognised players across the UK within their field. They have recently won multiple large scale projects and intend on further growth over the coming months. They're now seeking a driven individual whose eager to receive training and progression opportunities within a specialised and booming sector.

In this role the Solar Designer will be working under and reporting to the Operations Manager who has a wealth of experience in this sector. You will have the chance to gain on site training and knowledge, while supporting the growth of the team which in return will enable progression opportunities. You will be enrolled on external training course, which will be tailored to you as an individual to keep up with an ever changing industry.

The ideal candidate will hold Engineering / Renewable specific knowledge, have a positive, can-do attitude and eager develop and showcase their existing skillset.

The Role:
* Excellent training and progression opportunities
* Design Solar PV systems for both residential and commercial projects
* Prepare technical drawings, specifications and documentations for construction purposes
* Collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless project execution
* Contacting suppliers to build relationships and deliver technical solutions
* Office based - Monday - Friday (39 hour working week)

The Person:
* Previous Electrical Engineering experience
* Positive, enthusiastic and driven individual
* Proven experience using AutoCAD
* Solar PV background
* Comfortable travelling to site across Northeast on occasion
