This highly successful organisation is looking for a Software Tester to join an established software development team. The successful Software Tester will be joining a team of developers working on the testing and delivery of applications and sites within various web frameworks.
Skills & Responsibilities for the Software Tester:
- Executing test scripts within the schedules agreed and report back on product quality.
- Plan, carry out and document the testing of software
- Identifying and recording defects
- Creating and maintaining test documentation
- Work within development scrum teams using agile methodology
- Work closely with other areas of the business to understand the system’s functional and non-functional requirements.
- Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and QA’s role in it
- Strong background providing manual and automation testing
- An understanding of programming languages
- A passion for software quality and the testing process
- Ideally experience with SQL and databases
- ISTQB certification
