Software Test Engineer

A software house with a global presence is looking for a QA Tester to join their team!

They have been running for over 20 years, they pivoted into becoming a technology-first and are now the market leaders within their industry in the UK.

You would be joining a fast-paced environment with endless opportunities for growth. They are constantly expanding their services, and embarking on exciting projects so you'll always have something meaningful to contribute to. They are looking for a Tester with a strong QA mindset, you will be coming in and getting to grips with the look and feel of their new apps. They are looking for someone with the right instinct and skills for proper QA Testing as you will be taking ownership of some of their test projects.

One exciting aspect of this role is the opportunity to upskill in automation! Whilst they are not looking for years of commercial automaton experience, they are looking for someone with an ability to get involved in that side of the test function, as the role will eventually involve you writing automated tests for both API and front-end functions.

Essentially, they are looking for:

- a background in API Testing

- some automation knowledge (would be an advantage)

- a strong QA mindset (a passion for tackling complex scenarios)

In return they can offer a salary of £30,000-£45,000, strong career development opportunities and a great benefits package. At the moment, they come into the office about three times a week.
