Software Engineer

Role: C++ Software Engineer.

Location - Manchester (3 days a week in the office).

Salary - £40,000 to £60,000 (dependent on experience).

Applause IT has partnered with a company who have been delivering critical, high-performance projects to their international clients for over 10 years. The right software Engineer will be joining a team of like-minded engineers who love what they do and enjoy working with each other to improve their knowledge.

The successful software engineer will be working in all phases of the software engineering lifestyle, producing specifications, and assessing operational feasibility. You will be required to create code, tailor, and deploy software tools, process, and metrics also.

Key responsibilities include...

  • The creation of code that is well-designed, efficient, and testable.
  • Integrate software components into fully functional software systems.
  • Develop systems and software tests, verification plans and procedures.

Essential Skills...

  • C or C++ experience.
  • Previously worked on Linux.
  • Experience with embedded systems.
  • Experience working with free and open-source software (FOSS).
  • Python, Rust, and Java experience.
