Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented senior software engineer to join our global and dynamic software engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering solutions as per the roadmap of the products. This involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to work towards achieving a common goal. As a software engineer you will be part of a globally distributed development team and strive towards continuous improvement of the software development process(es) in place.

Key responsibilities:
  • Work on strategic green field and brown field projects in Prime Brokerage, Post Trade Technology, Custody Platform for Digital Assets and Business as Usual requests.
  • Propose improvements related to the development and support activity.
  • Troubleshoot production system support issues.
  • Software maintenance and upgrade.
  • Should be able to liaise with different teams to re-solve/get dependencies on time.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience required:
  • 3-5 years of experience working in software development.
  • Knowledge and experience of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities.
  • Java, SQL Server, Postgres, Angular, Spring, Docker.
  • Unix shell scripting.
  • Messaging (Kafka, JMS, Solace).
  • Gitlab source control, CI/CD. DevOps.
  • Experience of digital assets and technologies is desirable but not necessary.
  • Any experience of Test-Driven Development or Behavior Driven Development is an advantage.
  • Cloud technologies, deployment, design and any PostgreSQL/Sybase experience is a plus.
  • Financial Services background and knowledge of trade lifecycle is a plus.
