Software Developer Hybrid

This is a hybrid role, working 3 days in the Solihull Office and 2 days at home .

What you'll be doing as our C# Software Developer:

Writing Code:

• Write clean, efficient code that's the backbone of our software projects.
• Implement new features and functionalities, turning project requirements into digital reality.

Testing:

• Dive into various tests - unit, integration, automated - to ensure our software shines in quality.
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring our coding standards are top-notch.

Debugging and fixing:

• Tackle technical challenges head-on, from identifying issues to debugging code and fixing defects.

Part of the team:

• Be part of the Agile journey - Scrum, Kanban - attending stand-up meetings, collaborating with the team, and estimating work for each sprint.

Documentation:

• Create and maintain technical documentation, making sure every bit of code is well-documented and user-friendly.

Innovation :

• Spot areas for improvement and propose solutions to boost productivity, code quality, and overall software development efficiency.

What we use:

• Tools like Jira, Monday.com, Azure Data Studio, and Visual Studio.
• Microsoft Office, Teams, Postman, and Whimsical are all part of your daily coding.

Your Coding Credentials:

• Proficiency in languages like C# & JavaScript.
• Frontend web development, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Azure SQL Server.
• Agile methodologies, cloud platforms (especially Azure), and CI/CD.

Bonus Points for:

• A good eye for UX/UI.
• Previous experience with IT service management tools like ServiceNow.

THE NITTY-GRITTY

• This is a full-time role, you'll be working 37.5 hours per week, but no weekends, it's Monday to Friday.
• It's a permanent position
