Position: Solutions Architect - Software Architect -  JavaScript frameworks

Location: Remote (Penrith near the Lake District, 1-2 days per month)

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Join a dynamic team at an acclaimed Software company nestled in the glorious surroundings of the Lake District. As the company expands, we're seeking a Solutions Architect to make a significant impact within their technical ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Head of Development, you'll oversee a team of 5 Senior Developers, each managing their own compact teams.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop application architectures.
  • Assess project timelines and feasibility.
  • Collaborate with Senior Developers to maintain team performance and quality of work.
  • Foster continuous growth through idea sharing.
  • Translate client requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Drive Agile strategies forward.
  • Create comprehensive software documentation and best practices.
  • Mentor team members, providing guidance and support.
  • This role offers flexibility with remote work, requiring presence at our Lake District offices twice a month with expenses covered. It's an exciting time to join us as we embark on ambitious growth plans and engage in compelling new projects.

Experience Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Solutions Architect, Senior/Lead Developer, or similar role
  • Proficiency in JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Node.js, Express.js, or similar back-end frameworks
  • Strong understanding of Agile Development practices
  • Experience with Azure DevOps
