Rate: £35 per hour

Role Overview:
As a Safeguarding Children Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in protecting vulnerable children and ensuring their safety and wellbeing. You will work closely with children, families, and partner agencies to assess risks, develop effective safeguarding plans, and provide support to children and families in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and investigations into allegations of abuse or neglect, and making decisions about appropriate interventions.
- Developing and implementing robust safeguarding plans in collaboration with multi-agency teams, including health professionals, police, and schools.
- Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, including crisis intervention and advocacy.
- Attending case conferences, child protection meetings, and court hearings as required, and providing evidence-based reports and recommendations.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in line with statutory requirements and departmental policies.
