Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a busy Adult Transitions Team based in Manchester.

Your main responsibilities as a Social Worker:

  • You will be expected to work within organisational, policy and legislative requirements which include the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and the Mental Health Act.
  • Good working knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment and enablement is essential.
  • A person-centred approach to transition planning is necessary to help young people and their families prepare for the journey into adulthood, so an ability to work closely with families and young people and to promote their views as well as their wellbeing in all interventions.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
