Social Worker - Children Safeguarding Teams

Role: Temporary

Location: Surrey County Council

Pay: Up to £42 per hour

Surrey County Council are seeking Locum Children's Social Workers in their Children & Safeguarding Team.

Surrey County Council (SCC) are looking for Qualified Social Workers for ongoing contracts. As a Children's Social Worker within Surrey County Council, we offer long-term assignments of 1 year with a view to extend or move around within the local authority. You will be practising in one of the most forward-thinking local authorities in the country.

Roles are available across the County especially in the following areas:

  • Guildford
  • Reigate
  • Woking
  • Walton on Thames

Our Social Workers are an asset and are encouraged to be creative and autonomous, while enabling you to work flexibly. Surrey is committed to providing regular, reflective, and effective supervision to support you, while ensuring you also have the working conditions you need for good practice to flourish.

  • Regular support to ensure you well supported both emotionally and professionally to do your role efficiently and you will be supported by your Line Manager and colleagues within the business.
