Social Worker - Children's Duty & Assessment - part-time

Peterborough Council is looking for a social worker for a part-time role in the children's Duty & Assessment team.

The rate available is £42 per hour (umbrella).

• Duty & Assessment team (children’s services)
• One week in three is Duty week – office based – and the other 2 weeks are hybrid
• 18.5 hours per week – Monday, Tuesday pm & Wednesday

Requirements of the roles:

• Qualified Social Worker
• Fully Social Work England registered
• Must have significant post-qualified experience in children’s services, ideally with experience in a duty & assessment / first response type setting
• Excellent knowledge of child protection procedures, thresholds, safeguarding expertise
