Social Worker - Child Protection & Court - Competitive Rates

Requirements:

• Social Work England Registration
• Social Work Qualification
• Extensive experience within Child Protection, Assessment, Section 47s and/or Section 7s
• Access to a vehicle

Our client is a local authority based in the Greater Manchester area, looking for experienced Social Workers to join their busy Child Protection Court Work Team.

With this authority having capped caseloads, this makes for a more manageable workload. Allowing social workers in the team more time on their cases and more balance with there work and home life. This local authority is committed to creating stronger communities and increasing resilience within children services. Ensuring that people get the personalised care they need and additionally will create a better work life balances for the social workers.

In this role you will undertake effective assessment and care planning as well as attend child protection case conferences, child in need meetings, legal planning meetings, LAC reviews, professional's meetings, and undertake statutory duties.
