Social Worker - Bedford - Adult's Learning and Disabilities

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for registered and experienced Qualified Adult's Social Workers to join a busy Disabilities Team based in Bedford.

To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with adults with disabilities, have good assessments knowledge and have a confident and thorough understanding of all legislation.

Your duties and responsibilities:

• Plan, implement and review a range of interventions for children, young people, and families/carers in accordance with statutory/regulatory and operational standards, policy and procedures for the service.
• Undertake assessments in accordance with statutory/regulatory and operational standards, policy, and procedures for the service and in the context of assessing risk to children and young people
• Manage a workload independently, seeking support and suggesting solutions for workload difficulties.
• Make pro-active use of supervision to support effective practice, reflection, and career development and to meet the objectives of Performance Development Reviews.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Hold a full UK license.
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
