Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting to join a busy Adult's Locality Safeguarding Team based in Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council

The management is extremely supportive and there is flexibility around hybrid working.

Your main responsibilities as a Social Worker:

  • Must be able to assess adults under the Care Act 2014.
  • Candidates will ideally have mental health experience and be used to undertaking duty work such as triaging new referrals.
  • Have a thorough understanding of adult safeguarding.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:

  • Degree in Social Work
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • 2 Years working within Adult Services is essential. Previous experience with Learning Disabilities and Autism is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
