Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for a new exciting opportunity based in Warlingham. We are seeking an enthusiastic Communications Officer to join a leading construction company. The role is responsible for managing all communications activities, advising on brand reputation, and supporting key internal and external stakeholders on strategies and events.

Please note: This role will involve travel to produce content so a driver is a must.

Key Responsibilities

  • Key media liaison and responsible for securing positive coverage for the company's services
  • Write and edit articles, press releases and other collateral to a high standard
  • Management of communications plan for the company
  • Management of the company website and content with the target to increase overall business
  • Research on company industry news and circulate weekly reports to the team
  • Lead and manage company social media platforms with the target to push the company as the UK leader in its field
  • Work on utilising event platforms to push awareness of upcoming/future events as well as any major news and reactive comms
  • Co-ordination of on-site media at projects and sites
  • Produce weekly social media reports showing increase in followers

Targets and Objectives

  • Boost the profile (professionalism and expertise) of the company making it UK’s leader in the industry
  • Showcase the multiple services the company can offer to clients
  • Awareness and interest of the company

To be successful:

  • At least 2-3 years experience in similar role - social media executive, marketing executive, manager etc.
  • Previous experience within the construction industry would be an advantage
  • Strong use of all social media platforms
  • Experienced and confident using Adobe software such as Photoshop etc
