About the Company:

Over 100 years old, my client specialise in the design and build of machinery used in packaging products, specifically sealed products. Award-winning, they are a global leader in packaging innovation and technology, and work with some of the biggest brands around the globe.  

About the Social Media Manager role:

Reporting into and working alongside the Head of Marketing, the Social Media Manager will work to ideate, create and produce engaging and thought-provoking social media content for their audiences.

The successful candidate will have a passion for shooting video content and coming up with creative ways to engage via social media platforms. They will take ownership of the company’s social media platforms and strategise to grow these accounts and increase engagement.

  • Ideate and create engaging content for social media platforms, with a focus on LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Film and edit video content, to involve narration and hosting interviews and Q&A’s.
  • Developing and executing a content calendar.
  • Ensuring all content is in line with the company’s branding and marketing strategy.
  • Community management.
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to track and analyse performance.
  • Delivering organic growth across all social media channels to increase brand awareness.
  • Occasional travel to Europe and USA for coverage of events on social media.

About you as the Social Media Manager:   

  • Previous experience in a social media role
  • A portfolio of successful digital content projects including video and social media posts.
  • Highly proficient in video editing/production.
  • Proven track record in managing social media accounts across multiple platforms.
  • Strong understanding of social media scheduling tools and analytics.
