Job Title: Social Media Executive

Location: City of London, UK

Salary Range: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum (DOE)

About Us:

Our client is a renowned Luxury Investment, E-comm and Retail company based in London, specialising in luxury goods and collectables such as whisky, watches, fine wine, classic cars, gold, and designer handbags. They're quickly growing and as a result are looking to expand the brilliant creative marketing team, particularly with their first luxury retail store opening in June this year.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and socially savvy Social Media Executive to join our client's Luxury Investment, E-comm and Retail company. If you have a passion for luxury goods and a natural talent for crafting engaging digital content, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the brand's voice and expand their online presence across various social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day management of digital channels, including creating captivating content that resonates with their audience.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a social media strategy in collaboration with the Marketing Director to increase engagement and drive traffic across all social media platforms, including Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.
  • Create content calendars across all social media channels. Enabling the brand to grow their reach, brand awareness and to consistently share engaging and educational content for their followers
  • Collaborate with the creative team to produce consistently high-quality digital content, including photos, videos, and graphics.
  • The ability to create different social media campaigns that drive traffic and growth to the different areas of the business. This will include their retail shop and new Ecommerce platform.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of digital channels using tools like Google Analytics, providing insights to inform future strategies.
  • Coordinate with other departments across the business to integrate digital initiatives into our broader marketing campaigns.
  • Participate in regular departmental meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement in the world of social media.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in social media marketing.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in not just managing, but growing social media accounts, community building, and creating engaging and informative content that is best in class, using a variety of creative mediums.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow a brand's social media presence and engagement.
  • Brilliantly creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in developing and executing social media campaigns across platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools such as Buffer, Later or similar platforms.
  • Basic understanding of digital analytics and metrics, preferably with experience using Google Analytics, but if not, an aptitude for measuring the key analytics within each platform.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • A team player who is able to effectively collaborate with other members from the marketing department, as well as other departments where necessary.
  • Adeptness in using creative tools such as Canva to create brilliantly engaging content.
  • Knowledge of photography and image editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with video production and editing tools (e.g., Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro) is a plus.
  • Previous experience in luxury goods, the alcohol sector or financial services industries is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred.
