SOC Analyst required on an initial 6-month contract supporting an end client based in the Glasgow area.

The SOC Analyst will be supporting the internal BAU team on day-to-day activities whilst the business has an increase in project related tasks. Activities will include 1st / 2nd line support, ticketing, escalations and incident response. The SOC Analyst is responsible for improving system, application, and data security by analysing, monitoring, and resolving security incidents.

Technical skills / experience required:

  • SOC Level 1 / SOC Level 2 / Junior Security Analyst
  • Commercial experience within a similar role / environment
  • Documenting and managing incident cases to utilise information for reports to provide insight and intelligent recommendations
  • Resolving issues, provide additional information, and answer questions related to incidents and monitoring
  • Vulnerability scanning
  • Ideally have experience with Rapid7, and Sumo Logic – however other tools such as tenable, Splunk Sentinel would also be considered
  • Any experience with CrowdStrike and CyberArk would be an advantage


This is an immediate requirement with interview slots available early next week.


The role will offer hybrid working with preference being 1-2 days on-site in Glasgow, but will potentially consider other options proposed.
