Description

Our client is a global company, and its premises in Lancashire are involved in the manufacturing & installing of safety alarm systems.

Due to expansion and growth, a vacancy has arisen in the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) section for a SMT Operative, including solder paste printing, component placement and some Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) operation.

There are many different types of circuit boards to be assembled and so changeovers are frequent. In addition to pride in the quality and pass rate of work, an intelligent approach to maximising efficiency is important.

Main Responsibilities:-

  • Set up the equipment correctly for each role
  • Run the machine ready for the days production
  • Check it is running efficiently and in accordance with all procedures
  • Capability to operate without close supervision
  • Achieving the production plan and quality expectations

Experience of SMT equipment is essential.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8.00am-4.30pm

Competitive Salary is commensurate with experience.
